Here is the Mavritanskite Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This heirloom tomato originates from Latvia an means "Mauritanian". They are also known as Mavritanskie and Мавританские. These Purple or black beefsteak tomatoes range in weight from 7 to 15 Oz and 3.5 to 5 inches across. Plants are mid size and can get to 7 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to get to 5.5 feet tall. They have a sweet smooth but rich tomato flavor and make a great market tomato and go great in salads an sauce! Here is the Marglobe Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato was developed in 1917 by Frederick J. Pritchard of the United States Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Experiment Station by crossing the Globe and Marvel tomatoes ("Marglobe" is a fusion of the two names). These tomatoes can get to 1+ Lbs easy! It has amazing flavor and making it ideal for slicing. It also makes a great tomato sauce as well. Here is the New Yorker Tomato, PI 645319, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato was developed by Dr. Robinson of the New York Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, New York. Here is the Old German Tomato, PI 647528, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato dating back to the 1860's was cultivated by the Shenandoah Valley, Mennonite community in the state of Virginia. They were commercially available around 1985 thru SSE. These tomatoes can get to 2 Lbs easily but range quite a bit in size! Here is the Yellow Pimp Tomato, Solanum pimpinellifolium. We received the seeds to this tomato from a seed trade from someone in the northern pan handle of Florida. This tiny yellow Currant Tomato is a Small yellow colored tomato that is a close relative to the common tomato, with an excellent sweet flavor. This variety bears heavily, often producing several hundred fruits off a single plant. Plants can grow to 10-20′. fruits can be used to make sauce or eaten fresh. Here is the Litchi Tomato or Morelle De Balbis, Solanum sisymbriifolium, This plant is native of South America, mostly Paraguay. The small edible fruits are red on the outside and yellow inside. It grows inside a spiny, green husk. The fruit is ripe when it is easily removed from the stem. The flavor resembles tart cherries and a little bit like a tomato. This is NOT Horsenettle, Solanum carolinense but looks very close. This plant has been used as a trap crop to protect potatoes. Open pollinated 80 days.

Here is the Galapagos Wild Tomato Hairy Strain (Minor) Type 1, Solanum galapagense. It also goes under the botanical name of Lycopersicon cheesmaniae var. minor or L. cheesmanii var. minor but (Solanum galapagense) is the accepted botanical name. Their are 2 species native to the Galapagos Islands, major and minor. There are also 2 variations of the minor, a hairy type (1) and a non-hairy type (2). This listing is for the minor (Solanum galapagense) hairy type (1) variety. This particular species and variety (Hairy Type 1) grows along the coast line not in the highlands and is tolerant of salty soil as well as thriving under high intensity light. The leaves are divided, tripinnate with tertiary leaflets. Fruits are extremely small ranging from .25 to .45 inches round and are very hairy and orange in color. Here is the Banana Currant Tomato , Solanum lycopersicum Var. pimpinellifolium. This tomato variety originates from the UK and is a cross between a Banana Legs (S. lycopersicum) tomato and a Goldrush Currant tomato ( S. pimpinellifolium) an was created by Plant World Seeds. Here is the Florida Petite Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This micro dwarf tomato originates from Florida USA and was created by the University of Florida in early 1980. This micro dwarf tomato is known for being grown in 4 inch pots and making fruits! We find this to be true but it will do better in a larger pot for obvious reasons. They tend to get to 6 inches tall but may get a little bigger in the right conditions. the tomatoes varies in size ranging from 3/4 to 1.5 inches round or slightly flattened and are orange in color. This variety is classified as a "determinate" type but we found that with regular pruning and good maintenance, the plants can live for years in small pots! The fruits are very tasty and sweet! Here is the Buttermilk Falls Tomato , Solanum lycopersicum. We believe this tomato originated from the Buttermilk Falls Philadelphia Community Farm, Pennsylvania USA but we have no proof of this. Here is the 67 – Jährige Tomate aus Babelsberg Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato originates from Germany and was considered an old European heirloom that had recently been rediscovered in a seed bank in Germany. The fruits are about 2 to 3 inches round but slightly oblate, regular leaf, inside yellow with a yellow skin and a hint of red-orange when fully ripe. Jährige Tomate aus Babelsberg translates from German to "Year-old tomato from Babelsberg". Mid season plants tend to get not much bigger then 3 feet tall. Here is the Ca Chua Hong Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato originates from Vietnam and is considered a very old heirloom in that country. This very rare variety is a large beefsteak type with fruits that can get to 4+ pounds! They make monster pink beefsteak fruits that are very juicy and have a wonderful sweet flavor. Here is the Small Wild Egg Tomato (Wildtomate Pflanze), Solanum pimpinellifolium. The origins of this wild tomato is unknown but does seem to have its roots in Germany. Most websites list it as (Lycopersicon esculentum) But we believe it to be Solanum pimpinellifolium. This wild tomato is a heavy producer with plants that can get to 6+ feet tall. The fruits appear to be a pear shaped currant tomato sometimes resembling a Peanut! Open pollinated Indeterminate regular leaf, 45-75 days.
Here is the Sweet Pea Currant Tomato, Solanum pimpinellifolium. This currant tomato was Introduced in the USA by SSE in 2004. These plants can get quite large as long as 20 feet and make great for hanging baskets or windowsill planters. This tomato is a heavy producer with as many as several hundred or even thousands of tiny currant tomatoes. These plants love lots of water and the more you water the bigger they get! the average size is .25 inches round and 16 to a bract. Easy grow even for someone who never grew tomatoes before. Here is the Floragold Basket (Micro Dwarf) Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato was Bred and created by the University of Florida, USA. The tomato is known as a Micro Dwarf variety. The plants don't get much bigger then 6 inches tall and produces these 3/4 inch dark yellow or orange tomatoes. This variety is classified as a "determinate" type but we found that with regular pruning and good maintenance, the plants can live for years in small pots! The fruits are very tasty and sweet! Here is the Black Dragon Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. The origins of this tomato is unknown at this time. The black Dragon Tomato is well known for the massive fruit production in excess of 50 Lbs per plant if the conditions are right! This one out paces the black Russian tomato by a mile! The fruits are the size of a plum tomato but with a slight pear shape. They are deep orange to brown with green or dark shoulders on top and get to around 2 inches long. Here is the Faelan's First Snow Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato originates from Fallsington, Pennsylvania, USA and created by Sherwoods seeds which is a Variegated Cherokee Purple tomato. The fruits are very consistent with the Cherokee Purple tomato slicer type getting to about 3 inches round with a deep purple skin with dark shoulders and a dark purple flesh inside. The strange thing about this variety is the Variegation on the plants! Plants can get to 3 feet tall in really good soil and lightly variegated leaves. Great for salads and for tomato sauce! Here is the Galapagos Island Tomato #2, Solanum cheesmanii. This is another variation of the Galapagos Island Tomato. Tho there are only 2 endemic species on the Galapagos Islands, There are several variations of each species. Some of the them are natural hybrids that crossed with solanum pimpinellifolium which are an invasive species in the archipelago. This variation seems to be from the original plants on the island. Some of the tomato plants there can be decades old with wooden trunks and still produce fruits even to this day! Open pollinated Indeterminate mid season regular leaf 65-85 days.
Here is the Venusbrüstchen Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato originates in Italy from the area around Naples, where it is still cultivated under the name 'Piennolo del Vesuvio' and dried like large grapes and was mentioned by name as early as 1885. There are several variations in color an size but this listing is for the orange plum type. Venusbrüstchen means "Venus breasts" in German and gets it's name due to the long nipple it gets on the bottom of the tomato. We found this tomato to make a fantastic sauce! Here is the Wild Tomato From La Palma (Wildtomate La Palma), Solanum lycopersicum. This wild cherry tomato originates from the Isle of La Palma in the Canary Islands. We consider it to be a desert tomato as it is said to be drought resistant and live without rain for months! Good producer with cherry sized tomatoes that turn red when ripe. They have a wonderful flavor and make a great snacking tomato! Open pollinated early season regular leaf Indeterminate. 40-70 days.
Here is the Mexikanische Wild Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This Tomato originates from Mexico and tolerates heat very well. Not much is known about it but plants can grow to 6 feet tall and produce small cherry tomatoes, NOT currant tomatoes. Fruits get to around .5 inches round and are very sweet! Here is the Stick Tomato also known as Curl Tomato, PI 330725, Solanum lycopersicum. This is one of the strangest tomato varieties we have ever seen. Instead of making regular leaves they make these "pom pom" ball leaves! The seed was first offered by the old Gleckler Seed Company called 'Stick' in 1957. The plant is all stick but they can reach as high as 5 feet tall and branch out quite a bit. They do make edible tomatoes and get to around 2.5 inches round an has a nice taste. This weird trait is due to a mutation in the genome that gets passed on through the seed. This is defiantly a must grow for any tomato lover! Here is the Pinocchio Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. The Pinocchio Tomato  is a micro dwarf variety and originated in the USA. This is a variant of the Orange Pinocchio Tomato. The plants can get to 8 inches tall but will stay much smaller if pruned regular. the fruits are dark orange and get to around 3/4 inches round. This variety is classified as a "determinate" type but we found that with regular pruning and good maintenance, the plants can live for years in small pots! The fruits are very tasty and sweet! Here is the Yellow Balcony Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This micro dwarf variety of tomato originates from ukraine. They can grow to 12 inches tall and very bush like. The plants are very sturdy and are self supporting. The tomatoes get to about 1 inch round and turn to a glowing yellow color. This variety is classified as a "determinate" type but we found that with regular pruning and good maintenance, the plants can live for years in small pots! The fruits are very tasty and sweet! The fruits are a Large plum tomato type getting to about 3 inches long with a yellow skin with green stripping color to them looking very similar to the "mint julep tomato" but much larger. The strange thing about this variety is even tho it's a plum type the plants will through out variable shapes with fruits as big as 3.5 inches! Here is the Auria Dwarf Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This variety of tomato originates from Ukraine and only gets to around 3 feet tall and is an early producer. The fruits resemble the shape of a penis  and is Sometimes referred to as Adam. This variety is known for having almost no seeds inside and can almost be considered a seedless type. The fruits are a medium pink skinned, orange-pink flesh flattened slicer type tomato getting to about 3 inches across with yellow streaking on the shoulders. The thing about this variety is the slightly salty flavor it has! Plants can get to 5 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to get to 4 feet tall. Here is the Broad Ripple Yellow Tomato, Solanum pimpinellifolium. This tomato originates from Indianapolis, Indiana USA. It is said that found growing from the crack in a sidewalk by John Hartman in the mid 1900's. There are to variations of this tomato, Red and Yellow. This listing is for the yellow variety. The tomatoes are 1/2-inch round almost translucent yellow, currant sized low-acid tomatoes. They do well in cooler climates and the plants get to 10+ feet long. Here is the history as described on seed savers website: "When she was a girl, Pittsburgh folk singer Cathasaigh encountered a very old man planting tomato plants in front of a post office. The man explained that seeds of these tomatoes had been brought over by his grandmother from Italy, and the tomato had been grown by his family for generations. The man was getting too old to garden, so he planted his last seedlings in front of the post office. This is an interspecies cross most likely a cross between a S. pimpinellifolium x S. cheesmanii which is a stable variety according to Dr. Chatelet at the Tomato Genetics Resource Center at University of California. Solanum pimpinellifolium has been well known to have invaded the Galapagos Islands centuries ago.
