Here in Pennsylvania their are a number of wild plants, edible and medical that grow throughout the state. Tho HRSeeds primarily sells vegetable seeds, we have been ask over an over again if we can offer seeds to many of these wild plant that grow here. Well we heard you and now we will offer many of these plants! Now offering: Mullein, Velvetleaf, Burdock, Wild Violet, Jewelweed, Chicory, Red Clover, Fleabane, Bunchberry, Common milkweed, Wild indigo, Mountain mint, Mallow, Penny wort, Goldenrod, Bee balm, Lemon balm, Canadian Columbine and many many more! They will be available in seed or root form or both.

Here is the Mullein plant, Verbascum thapsus. It is also know as great mullein or common mullein and are a biennial plant. They are native to Europe, northern Africa, and Asia, and introduced in the Americas and Australia. Although long used in herbal medicine, no high-quality clinical research has been conducted on Verbascum thapsus as of 2018. Oil from the flowers was used against catarrhs, colics, earaches, frostbite, eczema and other external conditions. The leaves are often smoked for many respiratory conditions like bronchitis. Plants can get to 14 feet tall with flower cones at 4 feet long! Plants will stay as a rosette in the first year then bolts in its second year. fun plant to grow. Open pollinated mid to late season in it's second year.

Here is the Catnip Plant, Nepeta cataria. It is also know as catswort, catwort, and catmint and are annual plants. They are native to southern and eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and parts of China and is widely naturalized in northern Europe, New Zealand, and North America. They grow to 2 – 3 feet tall on branched stout stems with The stems being covered soft leaves. It germinates in the spring, and flowers in the summer. about two-thirds of cats have toward them In addition to its uses with cats, catnip is a popular ingredient in herbal teas or tisanes, and is valued for its sedative and relaxant properties. Open pollinated mid to late season 48 to 65 days.

The Red Clover plant, Trifolium pratense comes in a few varieties mostly red and white. This listing is for the common Red Clover varity. It is a short-lived perennial plant in the Fabaceae or bean family. Trifolium pratense grows Throughout north america, and is used as a seed sprouting crop food often used in salads. Red Clover's flowers and leaves are edible, and can be added as garnishes to any dish. They can be ground into a flour. Due to its coumarin derivatives, T. pratense should be used with caution in individuals with coagulation disorders or currently undergoing anticoagulation therapy. Plants get to 2 to 2.5 foot tall with alternate, trifoliate leaf like foliage. Open pollinated 35 to 60 days depending on the stage you want to harvest.
