Capsicum pubescens

Capsicum pubescens is native to Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. The name pubescens means hairy, which refers to the hairy leaves and stems of this species of pepper. Cultivars include 'Canário' (yellow), 'Rojo' (red), 'Perón' (pear-shaped), Orange and 'Rocoto Longo' and in Bolivia 'Locato'. These plants can live for many years and are considered to be a tree in there native country. This page will have most of the Capsicum pubescens species we offer on HRSeeds.com.
