Thunder Mountain Longhorn Pepper
Here is the Thunder Mountain Longhorn Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 20,000 ~ 40,000 SHU. This pepper originates from the Leigongshan Mountains in China where it is dried out and smoked. This pepper has a few phenotypes that may come out of this variety. One orange and one red with some being shorter then others. It is a compact and bushy plant getting to 3 feet in hight and can be a heavy producer. Pods can get to 14 inches long but remain thin. You can Grow it as an ornamental, or in the vegetable garden, or both! Open pollinated, 80 days.
