Currant Tomatoes

Currant tomatoes are considered a wild species (Solanum pimpinellifolium) and are highly prolific fruit producers. WARNING!! do not plant "Pimps" in your garden but rather along the edges of your property or far away from the main garden as they will self seed every year. These tomatoes are great for small salads, eating fresh and yes, they are great for making sauce! All currant tomatoes are pimps, come in many colors and sometimes they can be Solanum lycopersicum too. They range in size from .25 to .50 inches round and the kids love them so much. Plants for this species can grow to 40 feet long! This page will have most of the currant Tomato varieties we offer on HRSeeds.com. However we are not perfect and may have missed adding some on this page so be sure to do a search on the website. There will be varieties on this page that won't be anywhere else on this site and vice versa. when you see (HR) then it's one of ours! If you don't see what you're looking for, try a site search or check our PEPPER & TOMATO SEED LIST page.
