There are many species and some are grown for the grain itself but the Red Garnet Amaranth is mostly grown for its other edible parts mainly as micro-greens. Plants can get to around 4 feet tall and produce a nice crop of seeds. Easy to grow and great for biginners and all gardeners alike! Open pollinated 55 to 110 days depends location.
