Here is the Poinsett Cucumber, Cucumis sativus. This is the true and original version of this cucumber. It's another dark skinned heirloom cucumber variety like the straight cucumber. This not the Poinsett 76 Cucumber. The fruits get to 8 - 10 inches long. Delicious smooth flavor over the cucumber flavor make these a very popular variety. Good producer and stays crisp in storage. Open pollinated 60 to 70 days from transplanting.
