Here is the dwarf version of the Aji Charapita Pepper, capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 20,000+ SHU. These seeds were sent to us from a man in Peru. We had our doubts but now we do believe it is a dwarf variety! Plants are a compact type not getting over about 18 inches. Fruits are no bigger then the size of a pea and are orange-yellow in color when fully ripe. Seems to be the worlds smallest pepper! Aji Charapita Peppers are known as Wild Peruvian Chili, Tettinas de Monk, Charapilla, and Aji Charapa. This variety makes a great house plant and are really good when dried. Open Pollinated, 65 days from transplanting.
