Here is the Corbaci Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 000 to 100 SHU. This pepper originates from Turkey and It is also known as Sarı Sivri Çorbacı biberi. They are lime green then orange then red in color when fully ripe and have a a long cayenne shape to them. The plants can reach 1 to 3 feet tall and produces hundreds of peppers sometimes per plant! Pods are sweet but some may have very low heat to them but not common and we don't recommend growing them next to other hot peppers as this sometimes causes sweet peppers to pick up some heat. These go great in salads, rice & beans and salsa! We found this to be a very productive variety and easy to grow in northern climates. Usually fruits first year but sometimes it don't so you need to over winter. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 14 inches tall and ornate but needs support. The peppers may also get a strange corking effect in very humid summers. A must grow for any collector! Open pollinated, early to mid to late season, red, perennial, easy grow, 51 to 100+ days to overwinter for many years. LOT# 2 R3 TAG# 96-2022
