Here is the Biquinho Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 000 ~ 1000 SHU. This pepper originates from Minas Gerais, Brazil and also known as Chupetinho, Pimenta de Bico, Chupetinha and Little Beak. It is considered by some as a Land Race species and comes in red or yellow and are about 3/4 inches with a shinny skin. This listing is for the red variety. We found this pepper to be a heavy producer an so far a sweet pepper but can pick heat later in the season. Plants get to around 3 feet tall loaded with these little beak peppers but can get bigger in full sun. They are mostly used for pickling in Brazil. Open pollinated, 75 days.
