Here is the Basileus Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato originates from Ukraine. This by far was one of the most productive varieties in 2022. It is considered a bush type not compact where bush will put out 3 or 4 tendrils that get 3 feet or so long, not common. The fruits are a red slicer that has a point on the bottom of the tomato with a red flesh inside that goes from 1.4" to 2.75+" inches across and weighting around 1.50 to 4 oz. Plants are bushy and can get to 5 feet wide with multiple branches in really good soil but tend to stay around 3 feet tall or wide. Great for salads, eating fresh and for tomato sauce and paste! Open pollinated, determinate, bush, regular leaf, slicer or salad, mid season, red, fresh, sauce or paste, 45 to 95+ days. LOT# 1 TAG# 113-2022
