Here is the Plum Lemon Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This Plum Lemon Tomato was Collected by Kent Whealy from an elderly seedsman at Moscow’s Bird Market during the August 1991 coup. Originally from the Saint Petersburg area, This very firm lemon shaped 2 inch fruit with it's vivid yellow skin and mild lemony flesh is quite a heavy producer. It is considered a hollow tomato making it a good choice for a tomato sauce. Excellent in vegetable soup and for stuffing like a stuffed pepper! Plants get to over 4 feet tall with as many as 6 fruits per bract. Indeterminate, Open pollinated 75 days from transplant.
