Pérola Iaranja Pepper
Here is the Pérola Iaranja Pepper, CGN 22838, Capsicum Chinense, Scoville units: 1,000 to 5,000+ SHU. This Peppers originates from northeastern Brazil. It is a smaller round bird pepper that looks similar to the charapita pepper. Pods get to around .25 to .750 inches round with fruits having a tan or pink color. Plants can get to 5 feet tall and produce hundreds of pods! Please note that the heat varies from pepper to pepper as some fruits are low heat but others may be very hot. We found these to be great for pickling and fresh eating too! Open pollinated mid season 70 to 95+ days.
