Orango Sweet Pepper
Here is the Orango Sweet Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 000 ~ 50 SHU. We believe the Orango Sweet Pepper originates from USA and not the island of Orango. The peppers have no heat but may have some low heat under different growing conditions. It's thin wall and tough skins make it quite good for pickling or drying for your ristra's. One plant can produce dozens of peppers that range from 2.5 to 4 inches long and the plant can get to 3 feet tall and bushy. You can Grow it as an ornamental, or in the vegetable garden, or both! Makes a really great sweet powder and dries out with in a few days! Open pollinated 75 days.
