This variety originates from Peru with a nice kick of heat. The citrus-like, lemon-flavored pepper which is a popular seasoning pepper in Peru can produce over 100 fruits per plant! The Lemon Drop Pepper combines the heat of a cayenne with a lovely citrus baccatum flavor. Plants are heavy producers with 2 to 3 inch fruits covering this Peruvian variety. Excellent for cooking, freezing, hot sauce and salsas! Plants get to around 5 feet tall. Open pollinated 80 days.
