The Gypsy sweet Pepper originates from the USA and created by Petoseed Co. in 1980, from a cross between a bell pepper and a sweet Italian rams horn pepper and is a 1981 All-American Selection winner. It is said to be a hybrid but for our growing experience it appears to come true ever year. This pepper produces 2 to 3.5 inch elongated bell-shaped fruits an tend to be crisp when ripe. This pepper ranges in color from light green to orange to red and can be eaten in any stage. These plants can be very productive and love mild warm temperatures. One plant can produce dozens or more peppers. Open pollinated, 80 days.
