Cobincho Pepper, Capsicum exile
Here is the Cobincho Pepper, Capsicum exile. It is a perennial member of the genus Capsicum and is a sub species of Capsicum chacoense. They have a SHU of about 15,000 and can be quite hot! the pods are about 3/8 long with a blunt nose unlike the pequin pepper. The species originates from the mountains of Bolivia. This is NOT a beginners pepper. Seed starts are sporadic an difficult to start. seeds can take as long as 2 months to sprout!
