It is cultivated throughout the northern and southern regions of Siberia and used throughout Balkan Peninsula. This rare variety of sweet pepper was named after a bull's heart because they look like a bull's heart! It is most commonly used to make ajvar, which is a relish. Fruits can get to 4 inches long and 3 inches wide! Short stocky plants 2 feet tall can be quite productive with as many as 2 dozen or more fruits per plant! This pepper is a sweet pepper and no heat. Open pollinated 50-70 days from transplant.
