Here is the Bull's Heart Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 000 SHU. Aka bullish heart, This pepper originates from Siberia and was created by the agricultural firm, Ural. It is cultivated throughout the northern and southern regions of Siberia and used throughout Balkan Peninsula. This rare variety of sweet pepper was named after a bull's heart because they look like a bull's heart! It is most commonly used to make ajvar, which is a relish. Fruits can get to 4 inches long and 3 inches wide! Short stocky plants 2 feet tall can be quite productive with as many as 2 dozen or more fruits per plant! This pepper is a sweet pepper and no heat. Open pollinated 50-70 days from transplant.
