Bolivian Rainbow Pepper
Here is the Bolivian Rainbow Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 30,000 to 50,000 SHU. The Bolivian Rainbow Pepper originates from Bolivia and is considered an Ornamental pepper. These peppers are a beautiful purple, yellow, orange, and red and have a intense heat burn. They are a good producer and have a good shelf life once picked and make a good dried powder. They are about 1 inch long and produce dozens of colorful peppers! They tend to be early but best to pick the first few off before they ripen for a larger fall harvest. Plants get to 3 feet but can get bigger in full sun. Open pollinated, 75 days.
