Here is the Belmonte tomato, Solanum lycopersicum This Italian heirloom tomato from the province of Cosenza in Calabria, are variable in shape and often has an elongated neck so it is more of a bell Bartlett pear shape. These Belmonte tomato seeds originated straight from an Italian seed company.  Because of the unusual shape, we thought this Belomnte was in the piriform large pear group of tomatoes. After reading more in Italian, they seem to describe it as a Oxheart Marmande type cross which would explain the variable shape with ribbing. They are meaty and good for canning, but not as dry as pastes so good for fresh eating too. Open  polenated, 75 days.
