Here is the Aji Peruvian Pepper, Capsicum Baccatum, Scoville units: 1,000 ~ 30,000 shu. This wild baccatum variety from Peru is mildly hot and has a strong berry like aroma. This is one of the most productive varieties in the entire baccatum family. The plant sets hundreds of 3 inches long pods turning from green to orange to bright red.
