Here is the Wild Brazil Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 30,000 to 95,000 SHU. The Wild Brazil Pepper originates from Brazil. Fruits get to .25 inch long and turns from green to yellow when fully ripe. Plants can get to 24+ inches tall but often times they stay around 16 inches tall. Pods are hot and have a really nice peppery taste. Usually fruits first year and did really well in a 1 gallon pot. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 18 inches tall and ornate if pruned on a regular basis. A must grow for any collector!
