Here is the Whynot Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 100,000 to 500,000+ SHU. The Whynot Pepper originates from Italy and was created by Danilo Marini. It is a cross between a Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion and 7 Pot White. Fruits get to 1.5 to 2 inches long and turns from green to cream or peach when fully ripe. Plants can get to 40+ inches tall and grows like a bush. Pods are high heat and have a really nice peppery fruity smell. It does fruit first year and did really well in a 1 gallon pot but is a late season harvest. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 24 inches tall and ornate if pruned on a regular basis. A must grow for any collector!
