Here is the Thorburn’s Terra Cotta Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This heirloom tomato originates from NY, USA and was first introduced by James M. Thorburn & Co. of New York in 1893. This copper or better yet terra cotta colored beefsteak tomato has a copper skin and a brick orange flesh inside with fruits getting to 2.75 to 3.65+ inches across. Plants are medium sized and can get to 7.5 feet tall but plants tend to get to 4 feet tall. The fully ripened fruits will have a nice deep terra cotta color to them and 1 fruit per bract. Great tasting tomatoes for salads, eating fresh and for tomato sauce and paste! Open pollinated, semi-determinate, beefsteak, regular leaf, mid to late season, brown or terra cotta or copper color, 61 to 90+ days. LOT# 1 TAG#  134-2023
