Here is the Ruffled Pink Tomato (HR), Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato originates from Pennsylvania USA and originates from John Tetor's gradens. "Not much of a story but this tomato was a volunteer that popped up and i let it grow and was surprised as i had not grown any tomatoes at the time that looked like it. So i saved the seeds an grew it several years later an found it to be a great sauce tomato!" This ruffled semi hollow tomato ranges in weight from 2 to 6 Oz and 2 to 5 inches across. Plants are mid size and can get to 8 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to get to 5.5 feet tall an a pretty heavy producer. They have a nice sweet and smooth but rich tomato flavor and make a great market tomato and go great in salads an sauce! Some tomatoes tend to be more like a slicer rather then a hollow type. Open pollinated, indeterminate, regular leaf, mid season, pink, hollow, sauce, 81 to 96+ days. LOT#1 TAG# 192-2023
