The Red Russian Kale, Brassica oleracea var. viridis is a Russian variety with dark green leaves that are slightly crumpled. It's light blue-green leaves are wavy and eye catchy and delicious! Very easy to grow and will reseed itself if left to over winter. These plants can live 1 to 4 years with proper pruning. It's taste is described as a rich kale taste. 50-60 days for fresh crispy leave but can be harvested at any time.
