Here is the Ramblin Stripe Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. The origins of this tomato is unknown. It is considered a hanging basket or compact type due to its short sprawling plants. The fruits are a large fat cherry tomato with a green skin and red stripes and a deep orange flesh inside that gets to about 1.5 inches round and weighting around 2 oz. The thing about this variety is the unusual green skin with red strips! Plants are a dwarf type and can get to 2 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to get to 18 inches tall. Great for salads, eating fresh and for tomato sauce and paste! Open pollinated, Compact, determinate, regular leaf, early to mid season, bi-color, cocktail, 72 to 93+ days. LOT # 4 TAG# 127-2021
