Here is the Quatro Milpas Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 2,500 to 3000 SHU. The Quatro Milpas Pepper originates from village of Quatro Milpas, Mexico. This pepper variety has pods getting 4.75 inches long and red skin when fully ripe. Plants can get to 3.5+ feet tall and tend to be a medium bush sized plants but if pruned they tend to stay small. These go great in salads, rice & beans and salsa! We found this to be a very productive variety and easy to grow in northern climates. fruits first year and you can over winter in pots. If pruned, plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 24" tall and ornate. A must grow for any collector!
