Here is the Purple Peach Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 100,000 to 200,000 SHU. The Purple Peach Pepper originates from Denmark and was created by Jes. It is a cross between Murupi Amarela and Bhut/Neyde crossed pepper. Fruits can get to 3.5 inch long and turns from green/purple to purple/peach when fully ripe. Plants can get to 52+ inches tall but often times they stay around 36 inches tall. Pods are hot and have a really nice fruity smell. Will fruit first year and did really well in a 1 gallon pot. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 18 inches tall and ornate if pruned on a regular basis. A must grow for any collector!
