Here is the Pockmark Orange Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 850,000 to 1,000,000+ SHU. The Pockmark Orange Pepper originates from Australia and is a cross between a Bhut Jolokia and the Pimenta De Neyde. They are a green/black then black/orange colored after ripening naga type. They measure up to 1.5+ inches long, thin walled, very very hot and gnarly, warty. The plants can reach 32 inches tall and produces dozens of peppers per plant! Peppers are super hot and tangy but smooth while very chewy and can be dried. These go great in salads, rice & beans, stuffed and salsa! We found this to be a very a productive variety and easy to grow in northern climates. Always fruits first year and can over winter. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 24 inches tall and ornate but needs support. A must grow for any collector! Open pollinated, mid to late season, black/orange color, perennial, easy grow, 79 to 100+ days to overwinter for many years. LOT# 5 SEC1A TAG# 208-2022
