Here is the Pinguita de Mono Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 60,000 to 90,000 SHU. This Pepper originates from Chanchamayo valley Peru an is also known as Pipi de Mono. This pepper variety has pods getting 1.5 inches long and a red skin when fully ripe. Plants can get to 2.5 feet tall and tend to be a medium bush sized plants but if pruned they tend to stay small. These go great in salads, rice & beans and sauces. We found this to be a very productive variety and easy to grow in northern climates. A must grow for any collector!
