Here is the Manitoba Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato originates from Manitoba, Canada and was developed to ripen during the short summers of the Manitoba open plains during the mid 1950's. The fruits are a red slicer tomato with a red colored flesh inside that can get to about 2.5 inches round and weighing 2 to 5 oz. Plants can get to 6 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to stay around 4 feet tall. This tomato is known for its very uniform appearance and extra early ripening. Great for salads, snacking and for tomato sauce! Open pollinated, determinate, regular leaf, early season, red, slicer, F-1, V, 52 to 74+ days. LOT# 1 TAG#  173-2021
