Here is the Habanada Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 000 SHU. The Habanada Pepper originates from Ithaca, New York, USA and was created by organic plant breeder Michael Mazourek at Cornell University. This pepper variety has pods getting 3 inches long and orange skin when fully ripe. Plants can get to 4+ feet tall and tend to be a large bush sized plants but if pruned they tend to stay small. These go great in salads, rice & beans and salsa and hot sauce! We found this to be a very productive variety and easy to grow in northern climates. A must grow for any collector! Open pollinated, mid season, orange, perennial, easy grow, 62 to 96+ days to overwinter for many years. LOT# 1 TAG# 178-2025
