Here is the Durban Bird Pepper, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 80,000 to 150,000 SHU. The Durban Bird Pepper originates from Africa. Fruits are about Tabasco sized and get to .75 to 1 inch long and turns from green to red when fully ripe. Plants can get to 48+ inches tall and grows like a bush. Pods are high heat and have a really nice peppery smell. It does fruit first year and did really well in a 1 gallon pot but is a very very late season harvest. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 24 inches tall and ornate if pruned on a regular basis. A must grow for any collector!
