Here is the Dufresne Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This variety of tomato originates from Quebec Canada. In 1948, Father Armand Savignac obtained the first seeds of the Savignac tomato through Raymond Dufresne from the Lanaudière region of Quebec. You can read more about it HERE. The Dufresne Tomato is also known as the Savignac tomato and is a big pink skinned slicer with a deep pink flesh inside getting to about 3 to 4 inches across and weighting as much as 2 Lbs. Plants can get to 9 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to get to 7 feet tall. The fully ripened fruits will have a deep rich color to them. Great tasting tomatoes for salads, eating fresh! Open pollinated, indeterminate, regular leaf, mid season, pink, beefsteak, 70 to 100+ days. LOT# 1 TAG#  73-2021
