Here is the Cream Wasp Pepper, Capsicum Chinense, Scoville units: 10,000 to 15,000 SHU. This caterpillar type pepper originates from the USA and is a cream phenotype from the peach wasp. They are cream or white in color when fully ripe and measure 2 inches long. The plants can reach 2.75 feet tall and produces dozens of peppers per plant! Pods are pungent but yet smooth while some may have very high heat to them. We found this to be a very productive variety and easy to grow in northern climates. Always fruits first year and can over winter. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 18 inches tall and ornate but needs support. A must grow for any collector! Open pollinated, mid to late season, cream or white color, perennial, easy grow, 71 to 100+ days to overwinter for many years. LOT# 5 SEC 5E TAG# 183B-2022
