Here is the Chocolate Tiger Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 100,000 to 350,000 SHU. The Chocolate Tiger Pepper originates from Florida USA and is an off pheno of the Red Tiger pepper from Mojo Peppers but separated by Bryan Townsend of Florida USA. Fruits are elongated wrinkly shaped pod and turns from green to brown when ripe often times with striping and can get to 2.75 inches long. Plants are fairly compact and and can get to 36+ inches tall and. Pods are medium walled medium/high heat and have a really nice fruity peppery taste and is best used when yellow. It will fruit first year and does really well in a 1 gallon pot. Plants can live for several years in pots and tend to stay around 22 inches tall and ornate if pruned on a regular basis. A must grow for any collector! Open pollinated, mid to late season, very high heat, perennial, easy grow, brown 79 to 110+ days to overwinter for many years. LOT# 3  TAG# 000-2023
