The Cherokee Tiger Large Tomato is a cross between Tigrette and Cherokee Purple tomato and is known for its chartreuse colored leaves. It is a 8 to 12 oz bi-colored orange/red flattened beefsteak tomato with a red flesh inside. Plants are a compact variety and can get to 3.5 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to get to 2.5 feet tall. They have a sweet smooth tomato flavor with fruits getting to 2.75 inches across. They also make a great slicing tomato and go great in salads an sauce!
