Here is the Cap 501 Pepper, Capsicum chacoense, Scoville units: 50,000 ~ 75,000 SHU. This species is native to Argentina, the Bolivian Chaco, and Paraguay or ají putaparió. It is known locally as 'Tova' or 'Covincho' in Paraguay and sometimes referred to as SPARKY in Peru. Plants can easily get to 6 + feet tall and have thin wiry branches. Fruits range in size from .25 to 1 inch long. We found this variety to be highly productive later in the growing season with 100 or more pods per plant!  Peppers contain only 1 or 2 seeds per pod. Not much is known about this pepper. Open pollinated 100 days.
