Here is the Cabaca Peach Pepper, Capsicum Chinense, Scoville units: 5,000 to 10,000 SHU. This pepper originates from South America. They are green then peach in color when fully ripe and have a 3/4" tear drop shape. The plants can reach 3.5 feet tall and produces hundreds of peppers per plant! Pods are pungent but yet smooth while some may have high heat to them but not as common. We found this to be a very productive variety and easy to grow in northern climates. Always fruits first year and can over winter. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 24 inches tall and ornate but needs support. A must grow for any collector! Open pollinated, mid to late season, tan or peach color, perennial, easy grow, 81 to 120+ days to overwinter for many years. LOT# 4 SEC 1C TAG# 169-2022
