Here is the Bulgarian Carrot Pepper, Capsicum annum, Scoville units: 15,000 to 20,000+ SHU. The Bulgarian Carrot Pepper originates from Bulgaria, along the Black Sea, in southeastern Europe, north of Turkey. Fruits get to 3 inches long and turns from green to orange when fully ripe. Plants can get to 35+ inches tall and grows like a bush. Pods are high heat and have a really nice peppery taste. It does fruit first year and did really well in a 1 gallon pot but is a late season harvest. Plants can live for many years in pots and tend to stay around 24 inches tall and ornate if pruned on a regular basis. A must grow for any collector!
