Here is the Abraham Lincoln Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum. This tomato originates from Rockford Illinois, USA and was First introduced in 1923 by the Buckabee Seed Co. The seeds we are offering are from the Shumway variety and not the H. W. Buckbee from 1923. The fruits are a red round slicer with a red flesh inside that gets to about 2.25 inches round and weighing as much as 6 to 12 Oz. Plants can get to 8 feet tall in really good soil but plants tend to get to 5 feet tall and has a bronzy-green foliage. Great for salads, eating fresh and for tomato sauce!
