Here is the Marketmore Cucumber, Cucumis sativus. This is the true and original version of this cucumber and was Introduced in 1968 by Cornell University. It's long, slender, semi dark green skinned cucumber variety like the straight cucumber. This not the Marketmore 76 Cucumber. The fruits get to 8 - 9 inches long. Delicious smooth flavor over the cucumber flavor make these a very popular variety. Good producer and stays crisp in storage. Open pollinated 60 to 70 days from transplanting.
