It was once referred to as Lycopersicon parviflorum then renamed Solanum chmielewskii in 2008 but that was wrong then renamed it again to Solanum neorickii and now recognized as Solanum neorickii. It is a spreading, often perennial shrub with a sometimes woody base and long wiry branches that grow along the ground and is closely related to Solanum chmielewskii and is also considered the smallest flowered of all tomato species. These plants can be wintered over and can take the following season to produce fruits. This is NOT a beginner level tomato plant to start with. The fruits will fall down when ripe.
