Turkish Oily Paste Pepper
Here is the Turkish Oily Paste Pepper also known as the Yaglik Salcalik Biber, Capsicum annuum, Scoville units: 000 SHU. These peppers comes from Turkey and is used to make a paste called Salcalık. The plants contains high levels of capsicum oil but the peppers themselves are sweet. Some say it is a low heat pepper but we found this pepper to be sweet. The plants are a good producer and peppers are about 5 inches long. Plants can get to 4 feet tall and spread out. It is best to start this pepper early so all fruits fully develop! Open Pollinated, 85 days.
