Here is the Aji Tapachula Pepper, PI 439380, Capsicum baccatum, Scoville units: 5,000 to 20,000 SHU. This Pepper originates from the city of Tapachula Mexico. This is a very strange pepper variety as the fruits are an up right type and have a small pumpkin shape. They are very productive with plants reaching 4 feet tall. Fruits are about .5 inches wide and can have very low heat to sometimes have very high heat. We found these to be great for pickling and good for drying too! Open pollinated 95 days.
