Here is the Peruvian Wild Tomato, Solanum peruvianum, new for 2019. This wild tomato from central Peru to northern Chile is a very rare tomato type to come across! This Indeterminate, semi regular leaf, perennial tomato plant produces 1/2" sized, pale green-white, with some purple specks  tomatoes that have a smooth pale skin and can be heavy producing variety. We found this variety to be resistant to most diseases. The fruits are edible but may contain some alkaloids when unripe.
