Here is the Malagueta Pepper, PI 497984, Capsicum frutescens, Scoville 60,000 to 100,000 SHU. This pepper originates from the Caribbean and goes back in written history to 1492 when Christopher Columbus first landed there, then later introduced to Portugal and to Brazil.
