This tomato originates from Mexico and was first Collected on February 16, 1979 in a Public Market in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas Mexico. The fruits are a very strange long pear shape with thin neck tomato type getting to about 2.75 inches long with a orange skin with light orange flesh inside. The strange thing about this variety is the the long neck on the tomato! Plants can get to 4 feet tall in really good soil but average around 3 feet. A must grow for any tomato collector! Great for salads, paste and for tomato sauce! Open pollinated indeterminate regular leaf 55-80 days.
