Here is the 7 Pot Primo Orange Pepper, Capsicum chinense, Scoville units: 1,000,000 to 1,500,000 SHU. This peppers originates from Louisiana USA and was created by Troy Primeaux. It is a cross between a Naga Morich and a Trinidad 7 Pot pepper in or around 2005. The pods can range in size from 1.5 to 2.7 inches across. Fruits start out green in color and turn to orange when fully ripe. Plants can get to 3.5+ feet tall and tend to be a medium-large sized plant but if pruned and potted they tend to stay small like 3 feet tall and bushy. Pods have an amazing flavor with a very nice uniqueness and medium to low heat and very satisfying. Some peppers may be extremely hot so be careful! These make a great drying pepper with the walls being thin an will dry on the plant if left on. It's also good for fresh eating too! Very rare and hard to get variety!
